Task Order Project Manager

Serves as the project manager for a large, complex task order or group of task orders affecting the same system. Assists the Program Manager in coordinating with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel, and customer agency representatives. Responsible for the overall management of specific task order(s), ensuring that all technical solutions, deliverables, and schedules are implemented in a timely and effective manner. Oversees day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and risk management across all assigned projects. Provides leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure alignment with mission objectives and contract performance goals. Manages task order budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to achieve contract compliance and customer satisfaction. Coordinates with stakeholders to identify issues, develop corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of technical and operational challenges. Prepares and delivers project status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and government representatives.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience. Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively higher responsibility in the public and/or private sector within IT and/or consulting fields.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (BS or BA) in a relevant field; or four (4) additional years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.

Certifications: Project Management Certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or other recognized equivalent). Relevant Cloud Certified Professional (CCP) certification from Google, AWS, Oracle (OCI), or Microsoft Azure. DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAM Level III. Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC). Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).

Clearance: Top Secret IT-I (Tier 5/SSBI) Critical Sensitive Clearance

Overview

We are seeking a Task Order Project Manager to join our team supporting Cloud and Infrastructure Services at Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Work Environment and Physical Demands

Location: Candidates must reside in one of our approved hiring states within the United States. Type of environment: Office, Remote, Varies. Noise level: (Low, Medium, High). Work schedule: Schedule is day shift Monday Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs. Amount of Travel: 10%.
