Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Software Engineer 2 to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable services for data processing and management

Build and manage data pipelines using Scala and related technologies

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud-based environments

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in data engineering or backend systems

Proficiency in Scala and experience with sbt for build management

Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and GCP

Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL for data storage and querying
