Underwriting Assistant

Essential Job Functions

• Clearing submissions, rating new & renewal quotes, processing policies and endorsements within written guidelines
• Process premium audits
• Manually bill premium for premium bearing transactions
• Pull files and prepare loss runs
• Set up new business files, handle outstanding receivables
• Clerical / admin support for the Safety & Loss Control department
• Interact with agents / brokers, Chubb Custom Market and WC insurance boards and bureaus and audit department as needed
