PCC Specialist

This new hire will work in the Salinas Distribution Center , located at 340 El Camino Real, South, Suite #20 in Salinas, CA . The PCC Specialist will report to a Team Manager.

POSITION OVERVIEW :

The PCC (Pre-Cleaned Commodities) Specialist Technician position will be responsible for the safe unloading and palletizing of containers at SDC. The containers will be unloaded using the conveyor unloading system or through a manual process. This person will utilize various systems to process in priority order and with the correct quality measures in place. Container unloading at the SDC is a high-profile process and mission-critical to the success of McCormick’s supply chain. Under the general supervision of the Team Manager, the PCC Specialist will be responsible for :

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Set up the area prior to the arrival of the Material Handlers (, pallets

dropped trash and cardboard bins are placed) to ensure they can get off to a fast start.
