Equine Office Assistant

Hagyard Equine Medical Institute is currently seeking an Equine Office Assistant to join their team!

Skills / Responsibilities Required :

The primary role and duties include, but are not limited to, the following :

TELEPHONE & RECEPTION

• Provide primary telephone support for the Surgery department; screening and directing emergency and non-emergency related calls appropriately throughout the department.
• Greet and assist clients and visitors.
• Assist clients with directions to other locations on campus.
• Distribute departmental mail.
• Prepare correspondence and transcribe reports.
• Preparation of sales reports.
• Assist with monthly billing.
• Filing correspondence and patient files.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate stock of departmental office supplies.
• Assist with coordinating maintenance for departmental office equipment.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the reception area.
• Report any required repairs to appropriate personnel.
• Special projects as assigned.
