Advanced knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
Controller Position
We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in North Topeka, Kansas. This role requires a strong background in accounting and finance, coupled with proven leadership skills. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations effectively, ensuring compliance and driving strategic organizational goals.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee month-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to support informed decision-making.
- Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational objectives.
- Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering growth and collaboration.
- Ensure internal controls are maintained and improved to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address financial challenges and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial insights.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
