Facility Details: VA Loma Linda Healthcare System (VALLHCS) is actively recruiting to fill a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to help care for our Veterans – America’s Heroes! The VA Loma Linda Healthcare system is affiliated with Loma Linda University Health Medical School. Teaching of medical students, residents and fellows is an integral part of the position. Position Details: • Provide all services required in the practice of Neurology in the context of the VA system and his/her clinical privileges. • Provide appropriate documentation in the electronic record. • See patients in the outpatient general neurology consult and follow-up clinics. • Outpatient clinics will consist of both in-person and virtual clinics. • See inpatient neurology consults. • Take calls from the ED as needed. • Responsible for the oversight of all aspects of neurological care delivered to their assigned patients. • Perform neurologic procedures, like NCS/EMG, EEG interpretation, and/or botox administration, commensurate to his/her individual training and expertise, in accordance with local VA credentialing and privileging requirements. • Supervise and teach neurology residents and medical students during their Neurology rotation. Salary: $275,000 - $300,000 per year Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Preferred Experience: Board Certified Neurologist. General Neurologist with experience in both outpatient and inpatient neurology stroke. Interest or additional training in vascular neurology is desirable.
