Water & Mold Technician

We're looking for a Water & Mold Technician with hands-on experience in water mitigation and mold remediation. Responsibilities:

• Perform water mitigation tasks: extraction, equipment setup, moisture monitoring, and documentation
• Perform mold remediation including containment, negative air, HEPA cleaning, demolition, and detailed post-cleaning
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites with proper PPE
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with homeowners and teammates
• Document job progress including photos, readings, and daily logs
• Operate and maintain remediation equipment
• Follow IICRC standards and internal procedures
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency work

Requirements:

• 13 years of water mitigation or mold remediation experience
• Familiarity with water extraction, moisture meters, and drying systems
• Familiarity with mold remediation steps, including:
• Building proper containment
• Establishing negative air
• HEPA vacuuming and detailed surface cleaning
• Material removal/demolition under containment
• Post-remediation cleaning and clearance prep
• Certifications preferred: WRT and AMRT (Not required we will train and certify the right person)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in crawlspaces, attics, and confined areas
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious

Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
