Working knowledge of traditional DBMS platforms like Oracle and Cloud DBMS like Redshift and Databricks. Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills Discretionary Annual Incentive. ER Studio and Data Modeling expertise Delivery of Data products leveraging Databricks on AWS Strong Data modeling (Conceptual Logical Physical 3nF Dimensional) at both enterprise and data product level
Roles & Responsibilities
- Apply ER Studio and Data Modeling expertise to a Data Engineering team dedicated to the design and development and delivery of Data products leveraging Databricks on AWS
- Work with Business Architects Solution Architects and Data Stewards to capture business requirements in a Conceptual and Logical Data Model.
- Contribute to ongoing updates to data modeling standards and guidelines
- Evaluate physical data models to ensure they align with the corresponding logical data models.
- Create notebooks in Databricks in support of development activities (using Spark SQL PySpark)
- Support enterprise data catalog setup and enrichment
