Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location : Wilmington, NC Agency : Revolution Healthcare Services Pay : $1,968 per week Shift Information : Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : 1 / 5 / 2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Oncology – North Carolina Start Date : Not specified Location : North Carolina Compensation : Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule : Night shift, 13–26 week assignment available, every other weekend required Highlights : Medical-surgical unit with oncology patient population requiring specialized oncology and chemotherapy skills Target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6 with daily census of 42 patients Experience administering chemotherapy / biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection in an inpatient setting Electronic charting using Epic EMR with Pyxis medication management system 24-hour orientation period with robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Opportunity to work with diverse patient diagnoses including oncology, sepsis, AKI, diabetic management, and heparin / insulin drips Requirements : Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience in an inpatient setting Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license) Current BLS certification required Oncology certification (ONS / ONCC) required – must be able to administer chemotherapy Demonstrated competency in accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draws, PICC line management, and surgical drain care Experience with colostomy care, chest tubes, wound care / wound vac, and isolation precautions Proficiency with heparin and insulin administration First-time travelers accepted Why It's a Great Opportunity : This position offers registered nurses the chance to make a meaningful impact caring for medical-surgical patients with oncology histories in a well-supported acute care environment.
