Cashier / Server

MOOYAH is on the lookout for a vibrant, team-oriented individual to join our family as a Part-Time Server. • Key Responsibilities :

1. Ensure all guests receive prompt and friendly service.

2. Take orders accurately, making recommendations when asked.

3. Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and efficiently.

4. Address any guest concerns or feedback promptly and professionally.

5. Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions.

6. Uphold strict standards of cleanliness in all service areas.

7. Adhere to and promote food safety guidelines at all times.

8. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.

9. Handle transactions and maintain accurate cash handling.

10. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

• Qualifications :
• Previous experience in a serving role is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required qualifications :

• 16 years or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred qualifications :

• Available to work : weekends
• 6+ months of experience in the food & restaurant industry
• Restaurant back of house skills : dishwashing
• Restaurant front of house skills : front counter
• Restaurant front of house skills : running food
• Restaurant front of house skills : bussing tables
• Restaurant front of house skills : serving in fast casual
• Restaurant front of house skills : point of sale (POS) operation
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Access to personal devices for work : smartphone - any type
• Able to stand for duration of shift
• Able to comfortably lift 30 lbs
