Position Description:
The SharePoint Administrator is a key member of the Software Engineering team in support of the Headquarters, U.S. Central Command J6 mission.
Responsibilities:
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for
- Support migration of on-premises SharePoint to the SharePoint Online Cloud.
- Convert existing on-prem SharePoint custom workflows to Office 365 Power Automate.
- Create and maintain SharePoint Sites.
- Elicit and analyze business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams. Organize tasks and estimate delivery times.
- Analyze, plan, and implement strategies and tools to migrate sites and content from SharePoint On-Prem to SharePoint Online.
- Interact with customers throughout project lifecycle and serve as the technical and functional subject matter expert for SharePoint solutions internally and externally.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements
- Experience administering SharePoint Farms 2019 including administration, patching, troubleshooting, services applications, performance tuning, and migrations.
- Experience with SharePoint to cloud migration and management.
- Experience with ShareGate Migration Tool is a plus.
- Experience with server administration for Windows Server.
- Understanding of SQL Server administration in support of SharePoint is desired.
- Experience managing servers and SharePoint farms in a virtual environment.
- Experience managing SharePoint on-prem and SharePoint online with PowerShell.
- Knowledge and understanding of PKI Authentication.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with stakeholders to define system requirements.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or JIRA tool to work in an Agile environment.
- The ability to thrive in a fast paced and highly demanding environment where each day provides a new set of challenges under short time constraints involving complex network configuration and/or troubleshooting requirements.
- Knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense security requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures
Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience; or High School equivalent and 7+ years of experience
- Must currently possess a Secret clearance and be able to obtain a TS/SCI
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SharePoint Administrator
- CompTIA certification required for DoD 8570 compliance.

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
