Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Assignment

Location - Pittsfield, MA

Shift : Day shift

Hours : 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 30 PM

Contract Length : 14 weeks

Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing / rehabilitation environment. The PT will provide high-quality therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, functional independence, and overall quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities :

• Evaluate residents to determine functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve strength, mobility, balance, and endurance.
• Provide restorative care and rehabilitation treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment sessions, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, techniques, and safety strategies.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, professional, and facility standards.
• Assist with coverage needs as required due to census changes or staffing support.
• Participate in care plan meetings and contribute to resident outcome improvement initiatives.
