What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the healthcare location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and / or site leadership, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and local authorities when necessary.

Minimum Requirements :

Must be at least 21 years of age.

CPR certification is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
