Dekalb Animal Hospital is now hiring a Kennel Assistant to join their incredible team!

Dekalb Animal Hospital in Tucker Ga is looking for an energetic Kennel Assistant at a busy 3 doctor veterinary practice. Kennel Team Membersshould have a firm belief in the quality of care we provide and communicate this sense of assurance to our clients. TheKennel Team Membermust learn and understand our services and health recommendations for boarders and day care pets and be able to clearly communicate these to our clientswhen admitting.

Job Overview :

Kennel Team Membersare responsible for the day-to-day care of boarding and day care pets. This includes feeding watering cleaning walking bathing medicating and monitoring thewell beingof dogs cats and occasionally other companion animals. A love for animals and the ability to warmly welcome and compassionately care for a wide variety of pets is essential. Someone with Veterinary assistant experience is a plus as we would love to cross train you to assist our medical team as well.

This is a part time position - Must be able to lift objects weighing 40lbs.
