At Reliable Restorations®, we’ve built our reputation on being Relentlessly Reliable. With over 20 years of experience in restoration and construction, we specialize in multi-family, senior living, and commercial projects throughout the Charlotte Metro area.

We’re a fast-growing company — and now we’re expanding our Mitigation and Emergency Response Division. We’re looking for a skilled Estimator with leadership experience and an entrepreneurial mindset to help us grow this critical division.

Job Summary :

The Estimator is a dual-role position responsible for preparing accurate estimates for construction, restoration, and mitigation projects while spearheading the growth and operations of Reliable Restorations’ Mitigation & Emergency Response Division.

This role blends technical estimating expertise with leadership, customer relationship management, and entrepreneurial drive — ideal for someone ready to make a lasting impact in a growing company.

Estimating and Customer Account Management :

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction, restoration, and mitigation projects, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive proposals and pricing strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving concerns promptly.

Mitigation and Emergency Division Development :

Develop and execute a strategic plan to establish and expand the mitigation and emergency response division.

Oversee mitigation operations, including water damage restoration, fire and smoke damage remediation, mold remediation, and other emergency services.

Identify and procure necessary equipment, tools, and resources to build a fully functional mitigation division.

Recruit, train, and manage skilled personnel to perform mitigation and emergency services.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote mitigation services to existing and new clients.

Leadership and Collaboration :

Act as a liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Provide technical expertise and guidance during emergency response situations.

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to ensure successful project completion.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in estimating within restoration, mitigation, or general construction.

Strong proficiency in Xactimate, CoreLogic, or equivalent estimating software.

Hands-on experience with mitigation projects (water, fire, smoke, and mold restoration).

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build and scale a new division.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
