Job Title : Inside Sales Representative

Location : Yonkers, NY 10703 (In-Office)

Pay Rate : $45,000 - $55,000

Job Type : Full-time

Schedule : Day Shift

Responsibilities :

  • Provides the highest level possible of service to all customers with the main objective of serving our retail and walk-in contractor, commercial, and industrial customers
  • Answers telephone inquiries pleasantly and promptly
  • Provides customers with information on additional items related to purchases made
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the products sold, product usage, product prices, and new products on the market
  • Handles minor complaints with the objective of solving the problem
  • Listens to a customer's complaint to find out what it will take to satisfy the customer
  • Complies with Company's procedures on sales transactions, paperwork, refunds, credit memos, etc.
  • Maintains stock, displays, and housekeeping for assigned areas
  • Assists supervisor and other employees as needed

Education :

  • High School Diploma or GED

    • Experience :

  • 3 years' experience in retail or contractor building material sales preferred
