Security Officer - Unarmed Campus Patrol

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence within a government location. You will play a key role in fostering a welcoming and secure environment, engaging with individuals, and delivering exceptional customer service. Pay Rate : $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Sat 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Sun 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
  • Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow all site-specific protocols and Allied Universal policies while on duty.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
