Comfort working independently and within a team environment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Suspension and lift kit experience is a plus, not required. ASE certifications are advantageous but not mandatory. Electrical systems diagnosis & repair Brake systems and suspension service General automotive repair across multiple systems Steering and suspension troubleshooting Brake service and repair Heating & air conditioning (HVAC) Engine performance and drivability Advanced engine performance diagnostics

Automotive Diagnostics & Repair Specialist – Alexandria, LA

In our Alexandria, LA shop, you’ll greet the morning with a plan, a bay, and the latest diagnostic tools at your fingertips. Vehicles arrive with stories—no-starts, warning lights, uneven braking—and you turn those stories into road-ready solutions.
A day in the shop
You’ll move from an electrical diagnosis to a brake service, then consult with a customer about a repair plan. Between jobs, you’ll keep your work area orderly, compare notes with team members, and stay current on new repair techniques and technologies.
What you’ll handle
- Complete routine services and complex repairs across a wide range of makes and models.
- Identify mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment and test procedures.
- Explain findings and recommended fixes to customers in clear, professional language.
- Document work performed and uphold high quality standards.
- Collaborate with teammates to maintain an efficient workflow and timely turnarounds.
- Keep tools and the bay clean, organized, and safe.
- Continuously learn and apply the latest automotive service methods.
