CMM Operator / Quality Technician

We are looking for a skilled CMM Operator / Quality Technician to join a leading manufacturing company in a Direct Placement role. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in quality inspection, with a focus on CMM operation and First Article Inspection (FAI).
Responsibilities :
- Conduct precision component inspections using CMM.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and in-process checks in accordance with engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Utilize various precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and height gauges.
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to ensure product compliance.
- Maintain and document inspection reports, certifications, and compliance records.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to address quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to AS, ISO , and other quality standards.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Communicate with customers and suppliers on quality standards and FAI documentation.
- Complete additional quality assurance tasks as needed.
Requirements :
4-6 years of FAI and CMM experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.Experience in CMM programming (PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar) is preferred.Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Proficient in using measuring instruments and inspection equipment.Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics.Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and team collaboration abilities.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications a plus.Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
