[job_card.job_description]Technical Know-How : Build familiarity with CNC programming and machine controls. Problem Solving : Learn to identify and resolve minor production issues. Teamwork : Collaborate with experienced machinists and engineers. CNC lathes, mills, and grinders Metal bar stock materials (e.g., steel, aluminum) Precision measuring instruments 5 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Note : the 8 AM shift will transition to a later start time at the beginning of the year.)
Entry-Level CNC Machinist Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Machines : Run computer-controlled equipment to produce metal parts with precision.
- Assist with Setup : Help set up machines, load raw materials, and calibrate tools under guidance.
- Perform Quality Checks : Use measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to inspect finished parts.
- Support Maintenance : Clean and maintain machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Read Blueprints : Learn to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Document Production : Record measurements and report any issues to supervisors.
