Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce Service Cloud

Marriott International is seeking a Senior Service Cloud Engineer to lead ongoing support for both new and existing Salesforce Service and Sales Cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be an experienced engineer with a proven track record of implementing Salesforce Service Cloud integrating them into large enterprise solutions. This engineer will serve as a service delivery and sales subject matter expert contributing to technical design development and testing while collaborating with various partners and service providers. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for thriving in a highly matrixed environment alongside the required Salesforce Service Cloud technical expertise. The candidate should be flexible and must be an engaging team player.

Requirements

• Leverage Salesforce Service expertise to act as technical architect and hands-on Salesforce engineer
• Must not be afraid to ask questions or adverse to being asked questions; willing to share experiences and explain alternative solutions
• Deliver technical solutions with focus on security authentication scalability and performance
• Ability to work independently or on a team
• Make informed decisions on architectural design considering tradeoffs benefits and recommendations
• Provides consultation for routine and complex systems development
• Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure Delivery teams for deployment and production support activities
• Collaborate with business analysts and product managers to understand requirements and translate into solutions
• Serve as lead Salesforce developer ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards and coaching and mentoring team members
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within a team environment
• Ability to work in an Enterprise Agile / Transitioning development environment
• Review and approve design documents code reviews test plans and deployment plans
