Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, encompassing comprehensive physical examinations and extensive medical history reviews
• Collaborate in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging and laboratory results
• Work closely with surgeons to devise and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide crucial support during surgeries, including setting up operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and assisting with instrument management throughout procedures
• Offer top-notch pre- and post-operative care, incorporating medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and educational support for patients and families

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly favored

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
