Job Opportunity : Neonatologist in Long Beach, CA
Miller Children s and Women s Hospital in sunny Long Beach, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled full-time BC / BE Neonatologist to join their prestigious Regional Level IV NICU team, offering advanced neonatal care in a collaborative and supportive environment affiliated with the University of California Irvine and Children s Hospital of Orange County. Job Responsibilities :
- Provide expert care to critically ill neonates in a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 patients and 1,400 admissions annually
- Collaborate closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians, Obstetric Hospitalists, and a wide array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists
- Participate in advanced neonatal services such as maternal and neonatal transport, whole-body cooling, inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy, palliative care, telemedicine, and a specialized Small Baby Unit
- Engage actively in the NICU s continuous quality improvement (CQI) programs to ensure the highest standards of care
- Contribute to and benefit from an academic environment with integrated residency and fellowship programs

Qualifications :
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal MedicineExperience post-fellowshipCalifornia Medical License or ability to obtainClean malpractice and medical license history (highly preferred)Experience as a NeonatologistWillingness to relocate if not currently residing in the areaDEA registration (must be obtained prior to start)License and Certification Requirements :
