Overview : The position of Route Sales for Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company (MPM) requires that an individual be able to physically and safely perform the necessary functions of driving, delivering, stocking and ordering the wide range of products that the Company sells. The position requires the ability to perform tasks on your own without supervision and be able to communicate with both fellow co-workers and others outside of the organization.

Job Requirements :

• Education – high school or equivalent preferred
• License – Must be able to obtain a Class B drivers’ license and qualify for coverage as a driver under company insurance
• Physical – Must be able to sit, stand, squat, bend and lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day as well as be able to climb stairs and climb in and out of trucks
• Skills – Must be able to perform basic arithmetic and be able to learn basic route delivery functions.
• Mental – Must be able to adapt to daily conditions and to be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Must show reliability and promptness on a daily basis

Other Information : The Route Sales position is a 40 + / - working hours per week. It is a Monday through Friday position. The compensation is a monthly base pay plus a commission. The typical annual salary range for this route is $48k - $54k per year, depending on the route characteristics. About the Company : Murfreesboro Pure Milk Company is a family owned distributorship for Purity Dairy, DFA, Mayfield, Dreyers Ice Cream and other national brands. We are located in Murfreesboro, TN. It was founded in 1929, and has been a distributor for Purity for over 50 years and has route distribution throughout the Mid South in to four states.

About the available position : Currently accepting applications for a DSD Ice Cream route based in Bowling Green, KY. The route's customer base includes retail and convenience stores, schools and other institutional accounts. Preference will be given to applicants who currently possess a Class B CDL.
