Dental Patient Care Coordinator

Our practice is seeking a highly motivated, positive and personable individual with great customer service, organizational and communication skills to join our team as the first smiling face to greet our patients. We welcome dental assistants looking to expand their role in the dental office.

Key Tasks

Duties

• Greet and welcome patients upon arrival.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Answer phone calls in a timely manner and respond to inquiries regarding services, appointments, and insurance.
• Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate patient care and ensure timely follow-up on treatment.
• Process patient paperwork, including insurance claims and referrals.
• Educate patients as needed about procedures, treatments, and office policies.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
• Collect and post payments including credit card transactions and insurance payments.
• Monthly bill pay for practice as needed.
• Discuss treatment plans / finances with patient.
• Assisting in treatment plan presentations.
