Location : Plano, TX
Shift : PRN as needed

Responsibilities
Patrol hospital facility internally and externally, enforcing the policies, rules, and regulations of the hospital; give directions and information throughout the hospital and assist with security problems
Ensure that all hospital entrance and exit doors are secure
Ensure all personnel entering the complex or building on campus are properly identified
Write reports on incidents occurring on campus
Report all irregularities, emergencies, or suspicious activity to the appropriate party
Work Experience
At least 1 year related experience (i.e. customer service, healthcare, hospitality, security, law enforcement or military) required
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Licenses and Certifications
Texas Department of Public Safety Texas Private Security Bureau Registration - Non Commissioned Security Officer training and certification within 6 months of employment required
Valid, current Texas Department of Public Safety Driver's License upon employment required
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers as required by CP 1.20 Life Support Course Requirements 60 Days required
Basic Level Certification (CHSO) obtained through International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety organization. Effective 11 / 13 / 2020 new employees must obtain this certification within 180 days of hire. Existing employees must obtain this certification by 6 / 1 / 2021. 180 Days required
Texas Department of Public Safety- Texas Private Security Commissioned Security Officer Level 3 certification preferred
