Ability to deliver results under tight timeframes and changing priorities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Our company is seeking a Senior Data Architect for a fully onsite, 3-month contract opportunity in Houston. This position centers on modernizing core data operations and migrating five analytics models to an Azure Fabric environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the migration of existing models and data pipelines into Azure Fabric infrastructure.
- Apply strong data architecture principles to ensure robust, scalable solutions.
- Design, build, and optimize ETL pipelines using T-SQL and PySpark to support ongoing modernization.
- Modernize, productionize, and operationalize five existing machine learning / data models.
- Implement DevOps best practices for deployment, testing, and continuous integration.
- Conduct framework and code strategy reviews, focusing on code optimization and maintainability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and IT teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Establish comprehensive testing protocols for reliability and performance.
