Job Summary and Qualifications

Every heartbeat matters. As a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in advanced cardiac care during lifesaving procedures. You will collaborate closely with physicians and provide exceptional care using state-of-the-art equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting physicians during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
• Preparing and educating patients and their families, ensuring they feel supported throughout the procedure.
• Operating and maintaining advanced equipment to ensure effective treatments.
• Monitoring patient responses with care and vigilance for optimal outcomes.
• Maintaining a sterile and safe environment while advocating for every patient's well-being.

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist or Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program preferred, or two years of experience in a cardiac-related field may replace this requirement.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at hire; ACLS Certification required within six months.
• RCIS licensure (from CCI) or ARRT preferred.
• A minimum of one year of Cath lab experience or equivalent clinical experience from an educational program; on-the-job training with two or more years of experience may suffice in lieu of program completion.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology preferred.
• Ability to complete a hemodynamic test and arrhythmia recognition test within six months preferred.
