Food Safety & Quality Assurance - Import Manager

As the FSQA Import Manager, you will be responsible for the food safety and quality assurance of Savor Imports, a specialty food importer powered by Dot Foods. You'll work with vendors and supply chain partners to ensure products meet our expectations and that vendors are compliant with all food safety regulations, foreign and domestic.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Savor Imports' buyers to establish and maintain product and packaging specifications
• Conduct product testing and the auditing of suppliers' facilities and processes
• Ensure Savor Imports compliance to FDA Foreign Supplier Verification Program and others applicable FDA / USDA regulations
• Act as FSQA person of contact for all supplier and customer inquiries, including the investigation and resolution of relevant customer complaints
• Monitor, process, and analyze data for continuous improvement and to minimize food safety risks
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
