As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a healthcare location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence helps create a welcoming atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements.
  • Assist with access control procedures for staff, visitors, and patients, following all site-specific guidelines.
  • Provide visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and / or security-related issues.
  • Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns as directed by site management and Allied Universal protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience with customer service is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Pepper spray certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
