About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to step into a key role within our organization. We are seeking a Vice President for Accounting Policy to enhance our liability-side accounting function. In this pivotal role, you will interpret GAAP and STAT requirements, provide expert advice on M&A and reinsurance transactions, and ensure that robust policy practices are implemented within our finance team.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation and possess a strong background in technical accounting. You will lead the research, analysis, and documentation of accounting standards while interacting closely with senior leadership, auditors, and external stakeholders, making your role highly visible and influential.

We are looking for a proactive individual capable of taking ownership of projects, fostering collaboration across teams, and making a significant impact on policy development.
