Duration: 13 weeks
Pay: $2100 weekly gross

Required Education:
-Bachelor s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
-Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist.
-Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. General Description:
-Under general supervision, performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician.
Essential Responsibilities:

-Interpret a physician s referral and select an appropriate standardized evaluation procedure.
-Evaluate patient in the following areas: independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills and various psychosocial skills.
-Interpret the data and develop a treatment plan involving short and long term goals, frequency and duration of treatment.
-Assist patient in carrying out these procedures through the design and fabrication of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, joint protection and body mechanics.
-Inform patient and family goals and progress.
-Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patient on home therapy plan.
-May supervise students.
General Responsibilities:
-Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Knowledge of the principles and practices of professional occupational therapy and the materials and supplies utilized in the program.
-Skill in organizing and instructing occupational therapy activities.
-Ability to interpret prescriptions related to therapy needed.
-Good interpersonal skills in establishing effective working relations with staff.
-Ability to communicate instructions and technical information to patients.
-Some computer skills.
