What this job involves : As a Building Operator at JLL, you'll serve as the frontline guardian of building systems and operations, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for all occupants. This essential role involves monitoring, operating, and maintaining critical building infrastructure including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems to create environments where our clients can thrive. Your proactive approach to system monitoring and preventative maintenance directly contributes to shaping a brighter way by minimizing downtime, optimizing energy efficiency, and maintaining safe, comfortable spaces. Shift : Thursday through Sunday. Three days twelve-hour shift.

What your day-to-day will look like :

• Monitor and operate building automation systems (BAS) to maintain optimal temperature, humidity, and air quality throughout the facility
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks including filter changes, belt adjustments, lubrication, and minor repairs on building equipment
• Respond to tenant service requests and building alarms while troubleshooting system malfunctions and implementing corrective actions
• Document equipment readings, maintenance activities, and system performance data in computerized maintenance management systems
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs while ensuring work quality and safety compliance
• Maintain building security protocols including monitoring access control systems and conducting facility rounds as assigned
