Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring to build and execute effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
- Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (Compensation, HR, Systems and Programs teams, etc.)
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
- Recruit passive candidates at senior levels and develop sophisticated closing strategies that match fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone.
- Write recruitment strategy documents with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Partner with the recruiting manager on fostering excellence in the team's culture and driving productivity.
- Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision.
- Excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
- Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to the customer.
- Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
- Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member.
- Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team.
- Ability to execute searches at all levels

- Identifies and utilizes innovative sourcing methods, posts positions, performs resume review, conducts candidate screens and participates in feedback towards making a hiring decision.
- Recruits, screens, and interviews internal and external applicants to fill current or expected job vacancies. Reviews and evaluates applicants work history, education, training, and other qualifications.
- Notifies applicants of consideration or rejection; interviews those selected that meet organizations qualifications. Informs candidates of jobs duties/responsibilities, compensation and benefits programs, work schedule/conditions, career advancement opportunities, etc. Conducts and scores, or arranges for, testing of applicants, records results and other relevant information.
- Prepares and extends job offers; /or authorizes appropriate paperwork.
- Possesses and applies broad knowledge of concepts and principles or exhibits technical expertise in a specific area with minimal instruction or guidance with appreciable latitude for un-reviewed action; performs moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope and complexity, requiring a great deal of originality, creativity and problem solving with initiative and independent judgement required.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and/or experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources and/or Recruiting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Financial Services and/or Insurance Industry experience
- Experience with technical recruitment
- Proficiency with ATS and CRM tools
Working Environment
- This is a hybrid position requiring three days in office per week in one of our hub locations (Cedar Rapids, Denver, Philadelphia). Relocation assistance will not be provided for this position.
Compensation
- The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $35- $50/ hour. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
- Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
