SIC Crane Operator

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Crane Operators for a project in Clayton, NC. Candidates must have a NCCCO in swing cab and fixed cab. Candidate will be rigging when not operating the crane.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Complete JSA's and lift plans.
• Review the work schedule, check the equipment and supplies required to perform the work scheduled, comply with PPE requirements, and otherwise prepare for duties.
• Perform all necessary safety checks on the equipment per procedures & policy.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Operate cranes in a safe manner.
• Operate 190 ton
• May operate Hydraulic and All Terrain Cranes.
• Maintain logbook, ELD's and comply with Hours of Service and all other DOT requirements for CDL drivers.
• Collaborate with Riggers and Truck Drivers to hoist materials and or loads through Radio or visual signals and other communication.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
