Responsibilities
Business Development : Generate new personal and / or commercial lines insurance business through outbound sales, referrals, and marketing efforts.
Policy Administration : Quote, bind, and issue insurance policies in accordance with Farmers Insurance guidelines.
Consultative Sales : Conduct needs-based consultations to recommend appropriate coverage options.
Client Retention : Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure retention and cross-selling opportunities.
Customer Service : Service existing accounts by handling policy changes, renewals, and general inquiries.
Goal Achievement : Meet or exceed individual sales and performance goals.
Administrative Accuracy : Maintain accurate and timely documentation in agency management systems.
Industry Compliance : Stay current on Farmers Insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry regulations; comply with all state licensing and continuing education requirements.
Requirements
Licensing : Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain).
Communication : Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-Management : Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
Technical Proficiency : Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and basic office software.
Professionalism : A professional, ethical, and customer-oriented approach.
Success Factors & Preferred Qualifications
Licensing : Life & Health license (preferred or willingness to obtain).
Experience : Prior insurance sales or customer service experience preferred.
Collaboration : Ability to contribute effectively to a team environment.
