Position Summary

The Application Programmer Analyst is responsible for supporting administrative systems by providing technical support, training, and guidance to departments and end-users, as well as performing system administration, configuration, and programming tasks. This position reports to the Director of Enterprise Applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and / or functional administration for several enterprise applications, including but not limited to Ellucian Colleague, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and Salto door access.
• Evaluate, design, test, and implement programming / scripting solutions to enhance application functionality.
• Integrate applications with Ellucian Colleague following best practices as documented by vendors and adhering to North Park’s information security policies and procedures.
• Train IT colleagues and other institutional personnel in proper application usage and security.
• Document decisions, changes, and customizations using appropriate systems in IT.
• Communicate about forthcoming updates to systems and applications in a timely manner to IT colleagues and institutional personnel.
• Manage access control for assigned systems and applications according to principle of least privilege.

Requirements

Salary : $70,000 per year
