Network Engineer III

A large government client of Marathon TS is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join their team for an exciting opportunity. Technical Skill Required : - Must have knowledge of network design, development and testing methodologies.

• Must have an understanding of the OSI Model, TCP / IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
• Must have network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Must have firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto
• Must have knowledge of UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP / IP network designs.
• Must have knowledge of multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment. - Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
• Must thrive and do your best work in a collaborative and agile environment.
