Assembler – Hand Solder
Location: Moorpark, CA
Pay: $18 – $23/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

A busy and growing electronics manufacturing company in Moorpark is looking for an experienced Hand Solder Assembler to join their production team. This role focuses on high-quality assembly and rework of printed circuit boards (PCBAs) using both SMT and through-hole components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hand-solder SMT and through-hole components on PCBs
• Perform rework and install fine-pitch components under a microscope
• Read and follow Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings
• Solder to both RoHS and Non-RoHS standards
• Perform solder touch-ups and ensure quality standards are met
• Follow ISO and ESD procedures
• Work with IPC-610 and IPC-7711 standards
• Use hot air rework stations and other tools as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow traveler instructions
• Report any issues clearly in English

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience soldering PCBAs in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-7711 standards
• Ability to read and speak English fluently
• Comfortable working under magnification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and use both hands safely and effectively
