Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a dedicated Educator specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) support for a K-12 school setting in Winterville, NC. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students educational experiences through tailored instruction and resources.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and support for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across multiple school locations
• Collaborate with teaching staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Serve as an itinerant teacher, traveling between several schools to ensure consistent support
• Utilize various munication methods and technologies to enhance student learning
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet diverse learning needs
