About The Position
Job Title : Echo Technician
Profession : Echo Technician
Specialty : Echo Technician
Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 4 x 10 hour shifts, typically Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Hours per Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 30 PM
Experience : Minimum 2 years current experience as a registered echocardiographer
License : Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required
Certifications : CPR certification required, AHA & ARC accepted
Must-Have :
2+ years of experience
RDCS or RCS credential
BLS certification
Description :
Ability to perform quality and complete echocardiogram studies.
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated technical skills and judgment to function unsupervised.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in echocardiography.
Satisfactory completion of a recognized course in arrhythmia detection.
