We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Patient Transporter to join our client’s healthcare team. The Patient Transporter will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving patients to and from various areas within the hospital / medical facility, ensuring comfort, dignity, and timely service.

Responsibilities :

Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed to diagnostic areas, surgery, or patient rooms.

Assist patients in and out of transport equipment safely.

Deliver equipment, supplies, and medical records as needed.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.

Maintain transport equipment in clean and safe working condition.

Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines at all times.

Assist with decedent transport , handling deceased patients with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

Requirements :

Previous healthcare or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

Must be able to stand / walk for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable with transporting deceased patients when necessary.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
