Events Project Manager

300Brand is seeking a Events Project Manager to support the execution of our high-profile government IT events. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of event coordination or project support experience who enjoys managing logistics, timelines, speakers, registration, and other event components in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll lead defined portions of each event working closely with senior team members who manage strategy and client relationships.
While this position is primarily teleworked, candidates must be based in the D.C. metro area for regular in-person event support and onsite preparation at our Alexandria, VA office.
What You’ll Do
Event Coordination (Primary Focus)
You will own specific workstreams and support senior leaders throughout the event lifecycle. Responsibilities may include :
- Managing registration platforms, attendee outreach, and list management
- Coordinating speaker outreach, prep calls, bios, and presentation assets
- Supporting agenda updates, program materials, and run-of-show documentation
- Assisting with logistics tasks such as venue coordination, shipping, materials, and suppliers
- Coordinating sponsor deliverables and tracking related deadlines
- Providing onsite assistance during in-person events
- Supporting budget tracking or invoice processing related to your components
Marketing + Content Support
Drafting and editing event copy (emails, landing pages, newsletters, abstracts)Updating promotional materials and supporting attendee marketing effortsCollaborating with creative, digital, and editorial teams to ensure aligned deliverablesSupporting digital marketing tasks related to government IT programsClient + Internal Collaboration

BA or BS degree plus 2–4 years of experience in event coordination, project coordination, or similar rolesHands-on experience with logistics, timelines, vendors, speakers, or registration systemsStrong writing and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksA proactive, collaborative mindset — able to run with tasks independently under senior guidanceComfort with event tools, project management platforms, or collaboration softwareThis Role Is a Great Fit If You
