Job Summary :

The Division of Pulmonary Sciences and Critical Care is looking for board certified or board eligible Pulmonary / Critical Care physicians who will perform clinical services (pulmonary or critical care) on an as-needed basis, fee-for-service on the Medical ICU night shift.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inpatient evaluation and management of acute and critically ill patients with complex medical and pulmonary diseases.
• Staff the Medical Intensive Care Unit and / or Medical Surgical Progressive Care Unit.
• Ordering and interpreting tests and evaluations for patient management
• Collaborating with consulting services on patient management
• Perform invasive procedures with appropriate credentials
• Provide cross-coverage for other service lines within the Division as needed
• Support the educational mission of the division
• Other duties assigned by the Lead Advanced Practice Provider and / or the Associate Chair for Clinical Affairs

Onsite - this role will be located on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.

We continue to enhance all aspects of our division and training program, and as a result, we have seen tremendous and sustained growth. The clinical practice sites have built new hospitals, and there are multiple new research buildings across the campuses. We have been fortunate to recruit tremendous new faculty members while retaining many of our former trainees.

The starting salary range ( or hiring range ) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE :

This is a fee-for-service position. Each in-house night shift is paid at a flat rate of $2,500 per shift.
