Position Summary : The Campaign Strategist & Manager is a key member of the Marketing team responsible for leading high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns that support the credit union’s strategic goals and KPIs. This role works closely with internal departments — including Lending, FECs (branches), Community Leads — to understand their objectives, uncover opportunities, and translate those needs into comprehensive marketing plans.The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong project management, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of member behavior. They ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly from concept through launch and post-launch. Duties and Responsibilities : Strategy Planning and Collaboration
- Partner with internal departments to identify business challenges and develop opportunities that drive towards strategic growth goals and target KPIs (., member growth, retention, loan growth and account openings, member engagement, product adoption).
- Develop campaign strategies that align with the credit union’s brand, value proposition, and member needs.
- Lead recurring meetings with key stakeholders of business units to continuously learn, build team relationships, provide status, challenges and opportunities within current initiatives and provide strategic marketing recommendations.
Campaign Development & Execution
Build integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, in-branch, direct mail, email, SMS, and social media channels.Manage all aspects of the campaign lifecycle : planning, creative development, audience segmentation, production, approvals, deployment, and post-campaign reporting.Ensure all deliverables meet branding standards, regulatory requirements, and timelines.Oversee vendor relationships and coordinate with external agencies, printers, or freelancers when needed.Project & Workflow Management
Maintain a campaign calendar and ensure cross-team coordination on overlapping timelines.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing shifting priorities and departmental demands.In collaboration with Director of Marketing, develop clear project briefs, timelines, and task assignments to internal team members and designers.Proactively identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work cross-functionally in close partnership with employee experience, customer service, deposit operations, and sales teams to advance the lives of our members through mission-based problem solving.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.3–5 years of experience in marketing strategy, campaign management, or project management.Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign analytics.Exceptional project management and organizational skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail and deadlines.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, or campaign management tools (., Salesforce, HubSpot, Credit Union-specific systems).Familiarity with member data segmentation and performance reporting.Understanding of credit union products, member needs, and regulatory marketing requirements.Physical Requirements
Long periods of sitting will occur regularly.Occasional lifting and / or moving 15 lbs or less.Use of a computer and telephone required.Occasional bending, stooping, or crouching may be required.
