The Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles to Chevrolet and dealership standards. This role ensures every vehicle is serviced with accuracy, efficiency, and a high level of care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles according to GM and dealership standards
- Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended services
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate repair records
- Communicate effectively with Service Advisors about vehicle needs and timelines
- Stay current with GM training, certifications, and service bulletins
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs when needed
- Support a collaborative, team-oriented service department
What We’re Looking For- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technician experience preferred; dealership or GM experience is a plus
- ASE or GM certifications are helpful but not required
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks associated with repair work
