You take ownership over your work, ask for help when you need it, and are committed to your own growth and development. 7-10 years of alteration tailoring experience required 2-3 years of general fitting experience required 1 year of fitting both men's and women's garments required Proficiency in English required This is based on skill level and classification of tailoring work

alts | Alteration Specialists is looking for a Fitter / Tailor
We are looking for a dynamic professional Fitter / Tailor, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include fittings, sewing on the machine, building client relationships and supporting the tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in Roselyn Heights, and Greenwich, CT with salary, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management and Fittings
- Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming studio environment
- Conduct Fittings according to the Alteration Specialists Standard
- Build relationships with clients, influencers, brands and stylists
- Make every client feel welcome, and confident in the skills of you and your team

Compensation
Range is from $18 / hour- $35 / hour
Standard / Basic Tailors are between $18-$24 / hour
Intermediate from $25-$30 / hour
Advanced $30-35 / hour
