We are seeking a proactive and strategic Sr. Revenue Accountant to join our finance team. This is more than a compliance role; you will be a key business partner, providing critical insights that shape our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will...

• Own the end-to-end review of complex, non-standard sales contracts to ensure revenue is recognized accurately under ASC 606
• Manage key areas of the revenue month-end close, from preparing complex journal entries and reconciliations to delivering insightful flux analysis to leadership
• Drive continuous improvement by proactively identifying inefficiencies in the quote-to-cash process and implementing scalable best practices
• Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audits, preparing PBC schedules and independently addressing auditor inquiries
• Lead technical accounting research on new or unusual revenue scenarios, document findings in memos, and present conclusions to accounting leadership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, legal and operations, to support the revenue process
• Prepare and maintain documentation supporting revenue recognition policies and procedures
• Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by management

We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones - you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hour.

If You've Got It - We Want It

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or progress towards CPA certification strongly preferred. 1-2 years of public accounting experience working on public companies and 2-3 in industry performing technical revenue accounting. A proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of projects from start to finish in a fast-paced environment. Experience with consumption preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with NetSuite ARM. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and financial data. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to meet tight deadlines. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present information clearly and concisely.

Salary Range ($108,000 - 170,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidates job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
