Job Title : Production WorkerJob Description

As a production worker, you will be responsible for efficiently palletizing 30-50lbs at the end of the packaging line. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently lift 50lb bags, accurately stack bags onto pallets, inspect bags to ensure they are labeled correctly, and maintain a clean work station. Adherence to Safety and Quality Assurance rules and procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Palletizing 30-50lbs at the end of the packaging line
• Consistently lifting 50lb bags
• Accurately stacking bags onto pallets
• Inspecting bags to ensure correct labeling
• Maintaining a clean work station
• Following Safety and Quality Assurance rules and procedures
• Operating high-speed packaging equipment
• Completing daily production and / or QA paperwork
• Ensuring work is completed safely and within quality parameters

Work Environment

The facility produces various blends and spices for multiple clients, including prominent brands. The work environment follows GMP and SOP standards and requires adherence to a specific dress code : safety work shoes with reinforced toes, durable work pants (denim acceptable), shirts that cover shoulders, and no jewelry. Work shifts are from 5 am to 1 : 30 pm or 1 : 30 pm to 11 pm, with potential overtime of 1-2 hours on some days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eastvale, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50 / hr.
